Reaching
Universities to
Reach the Nations

Why the university campus?

Across Canada, 2 million students from nearly 200 different nations attend university each year. Yet the total estimated Christian ministry reach on Canadian campuses is less than 0.3% of the student population. The challenge of raising up and deploying workers to minister on campuses is the single greatest barrier to seeing students come to know Jesus.

“Looking back at our time in university, we recognize how impactful LIFT was to the trajectory of our lives. We both found deep relationships with Jesus and have been blessed time and time again by our church family. We made an intentional decision to stay rooted here so we could continue being a part of what so positively impacted us. This has meant many sacrifices but each time we have stepped into those God’s provision has been so much greater. As we have been here for some time now, we have each found new passion for discipling those who are walking through such a pivotal time in their lives. It’s been neat to see how God has used each of our unique experiences in university and beyond to speak into the lives of students.”
